What couldn't you do with more energy? Unfortunately many of our go-to energy boosts--caffeine, sugar, even protein shakes--can actually deplete our energy by spiking and lowering our blood sugar too rapidly.
In this class, we'll go through the basics of how to eat for vibrant, long-lasting energy. Students will learn which "healthy" foods might be slowing them down and how to construct a meal or snack so that it provides sustaining energy. No food comas here! I'll highlight some new superstars in your pantry that have been hiding at the grocery store and will help you master new techniques like making noodles from vegetables.
No one is going to pry the coffee and donut from your hands, but you'll learn some great substitutes so you may choose to ditch them on your own.
